Who Am I?
Welcome to Susan’s 140 Plus.
I started this blog in September 2011 as a way to reflect on the craziness of raising three kids, four and under. They bring lots of joy to the house and lots of chaos. These days, they are more often mistaken for triplets rather than twins with an older brother which is a great excuse to get my oldest son to keep eating his vegetables.
I like to write. I like the way thoughts flow through my brain, into my fingers and onto the screen. I like that words can be chosen to mean different things and convey different feelings. I like that at the end of a stressful day, I can sit down, write about it and somehow find the good in it.
Many people have asked me where the name of my blog comes from. Before I started blogging, I was on Twitter. On twitter, you have to limit your posts to 140 characters. As a writer, I find this to be a very fun exercise, trying to convey a message with such a limit number of characters. But sometimes 140 characters just isn’t enough.
I hope that you will enjoy reading. If you are new to my blog, here are a few of my favorite posts:
